Another great day with the Sunday Stitches.....

Sunday Stitchers

Our Sunday get together was as usual a terrific day, show and tell, yummie food, lots of laughing and  a special visitor.

De's hubbie made these terrific mini quilt stands and naturally I used it for the  mini that De made me.

I'm very pleased with myself really...... 

each get together with this group I intend to take photos but never do so I have outdone myself this time. 

I have 5 finishes for August OPAM which I am also pleased with.....

Our Sunday Stitchers had a Mini Quilt swap and I was lucky enough to have De make for me....

What a great quilt it is too, its happily on my frame and in my sewing room......

I was making for Maree and I'm so glad that she liked my little quilt.

This was a great swap...... I love mini quilts.

Hopefully another post very very soon.....

Saturday get together

What a great day we had at the "Full Moon" hotel with all the girls enjoying a visit with

Chooky gave us all some of her beautiful cards.

Michelle had her new book there for us to look at or buy which was terrific.

Of course I had to have it.......as you do.

 Christmas Wreath

We ... Teresa, Nor and me ..... have been making this wreath for quite a few weeks now but we only do it on our Tuesday get together.

I have really enjoyed making it so much so that I bought another project or 2.....

I will start the ornies this coming Tuesday.

I also made this great project..... Gail Pan's "Vintage Sewing Collage"

it was great to make and looks sooooo good in my sewing room.

A little secret sewing too.....

2 projects that I will be able to show very soon.

Norreen's 60th Birthday celebrations

We had such a good time helping Norreen celebrate  her 60th Birthday on the 18th April....

lunch with her friends and family at the Beaudesert RSL.

Thank you to Norreen and her family for inviting us to join them for the celebrations.

But the celebrations continued.....

Norreen's sister Danelle and her daughter Dianne invited me and Sandi to join them for a mini break at the Gold Coast on Anzac Day weekend.

We started with High Tea at "CreativiTea"

We had breakfasts.

We had dinner in bed...... what a naughty dinner this was.

All in all we had a great time.

On Sunday we went to our Sunday Stitchers group but we were very tired so not much stitching went on for us.
