Another post.....
I can't believe it but I am trying to be more positive with my blogging....
It was great to join the girls today,
they are so uplifting and as usual we laughed and chatted a lot.....
We went to a lovely cafe near Nor's home for morning tea.....
butterscotch and white chocolate muffin.....
yummoooo
Then back to Nor's for stitching.....
Nor pondering over her bag, she will be finished soon.
My stitching.....
Sandi's stitching.....
I guess you must be wondering what on earth that stitchery is for......
well.....
we, the Tuesday girls.....
me ...Sandi....Nor.... Teresa
are doing a "Stitch-a-long" together.....
It is a quilt I have wanted to do for a long time but just never got around to it so the girls have decided to join me with this project.
Our lovely Sandi kicked us off by making us all this block.....
So if you have this pattern and would like to join us....
feel free to join in......
It is called "Ruth's Quilt" in this book......
not sure where it is available now, I did google but could only find it in an American store....
Thanks girls for another lovely day.....
Happy mail when I got home.....
something to add to my pin cushion fetish.....
Once again it is "Toodles" from me....

Looks like you have been "rescued: from your ho-hum stage.
I do have that book...may need some "arm twisting" - what is the time plan??
or
when do I start???
(such a sucker for a group project . . . )

What a lovely bunch of "makings" from all of you to look at.
I love that quilt of Leanne's and have always wanted to make it too, but at the moment I think I have plenty to keep me occupied.
Yummy morning tea.
Nor's bag is lovely, nice project you are stitching out of "The Simple Life" and Sandi's special stitchery design for your sew-a-long looks great.
I haven't seen that magazine anywhere sew I will enjoy watching your progress as you stitch the flimsy together.

Great to see you continuing to post Helen, despite your feeling flat about blogging!
I love the quilt you are going to stitch along, but I'm going to watch with pleasure as you all stitch, I just have too much on my plate at the moment.
For anyone who wants to join you, it would probably be bad news trying to get the book - it was published in 2005, so most likely impossible to find in a shop, but the patchwork buy/sell groups on facebook might be worth a try.
