How lovely to catch up with this gorgeous lady on Saturday.....
Chooky was visiting Brisbane so naturally a get together was the go.....
It was also great to see so many blog girls as well......
so much giggling and chatter....
we were a little bit noisy or should that be..... very very loud.....lol
Sunday was our usual Stitchers group and of course more chatter and laughing.....
Our Birthday girl was Lynda.....
Marilyn's beautiful quilt
Michelle had these goodies to show.....
Susan was her helper....
Lovely quilts by Michelle
I also had a little finish....
I love this hanging.....
"The Happy Stitcher" pattern by Natalie Bird....
the Tuesday girls gave me this kit for my birthday last year....
Lots of outings this week.....
Monday I had a wonderful lunch with Heather at
"Pelican's Slipway Cafe" at Redland Bay....
So very relaxing watching the boats go by and hearing about her trip to Japan to see Corinne....
Tuesday was of course our normal stitching day and I was working on this pin cushion.....
or should I say growling at it really....
dam fiddly little thing, just as well I was with the girls who were making me laugh....
Our gorgeous Sandi was on holiday in New Zealand and we can't wait for her to come back to us.
This is called"Dragonfly Resting " by Helen Dafter.
It is now sitting with my special little bits and pieces on Mum's old china cabinet.
Another little finish for this week.....
something I should have made a long time ago but better late than never I guess.
Here I go again......
Toodles.....
