Sunday Stitchers Christmas party

This year Sandi opened her home for us to enjoy our party.....

So many great decorations everywhere you look.....

The table was decorated beautifully.....

Then Santa arrived........

he certainly had an impressive "HoHoHo"

Oooooops !!!!!

Yes my blogging has slipped again.....

so I'm here to get back on track.....

Firstly our plumbing issue has been taken care of, lots of mess and dust for a couple of weeks....

Liz and Clayton replacing the pavers for us, my back doesn't cope with all the bending needed to get these things done .......

Thanks heaps  to both of you.....

On the stitching front I have completed the September and October blocks.....

staying on track thank heavens.....

On the Friday 6th October we.... Sandi, Nor and me went to the 

Tamborine Christmas Craft Extravaganza......

We had a very pleasant fun day together.....

as you can see my basket has a few goodies in it.....

Great coffee and yum scone....

I won 4th prize in the raffle at Tamborine.....

a very odd  basket of craft goods .....

unfortunately some of the things had been used and the rest were of very poor quality.....

at least it gave me a giggle.....

actually it looks a lot better in the photo .....

I know it sounds nasty to complain about a prize but 

 it is a shame when someone donates their rubbish ...... 

at least it was for a good cause.... the Rural Bush Fire Brigade so that is good.

My 2 raffle wins  could only be explained as....

"the sublime to the ridiculous"

Then Sunday 8th October I went to the Brisbane Craft Show with Nor.....

gosh we had the best day, lots of great stalls to see ......

Sunday 15th we enjoyed another day at the Sunday Stitchers.....
