My day didn't really start this way !!!!!!

I started the day looking for a pattern..... as you do...... thinking I should check my magazines that maybe there might be something I could use but alas that wasn't to be.
While doing this I then decided to cull the mags as I'm having carpet laid in all bedrooms and sewing room in a week and I need to empty the rooms...... not looking forward to that at all.

I have realised that if these mags haven't been opened in years ( they were very dusty....... yes years then out they should go.

Now I don't feel like sewing which was the original plan for the day but it was a good job done.....
now to decide what to do with them all.

Thursday saw the Tuesday girls out and about for the first time this year.....
we had a lovely lunch at "The Nook" after going to ?..... well it shouldn't be too hard to guess where really...
craft shops of course.

Very naughty but oh so nice.

Saturday morning we took the lovely Corinne to the airport..... bit early for me 6am but she did the same for us last year so fairs fair really..... she was off to the Philippines,  Quezon City...... to help teach life skills to people so they are able to earn a living.... they are part of the  Hair Aid group..... there is a large Aussie group.....

Naturally on the way home from the airport we stopped off for coffee and cake.....
we did share this so I wasn't tooooo naughty.

This is for Cathy..... practising taking selfies just for fun... hmmmmm not so good.

I'm trying to blog more this year just for my little stalker Desley..... she keeps giving me a hurry up if I'm slack.....

Am I a good girl or what ?

Helen, I don't know about you but I always feel so righteous when I cull my magazines. Ridiculous keeping some of them really isn't it. Your day out on Tuesday looked yummy food wise.

Helen, you're always a good girl :) Magazines are pesky things. I donated all of my Handmades to a local patchwork group recently so now all I have left are Homespun and a few Quilters Companions.

I also need to cull my magazines, I was wondering if the OP shops take them?
It would certainly make more space in my craft room

I culled my mags a year or so ago. I kept Country Threads as I have them all from No 1. I also kept Homespun but I no longer get them. I don't think I will re-subscribe to Country Threads either as I don't seem to make many (if any) of the projects.

Helen the ? was 'am I a good girl or what?' ...... my answer .... or what!!!!!!!

Keep practising!! Drop the camera so you don't have so much background. Not literally drop it, cause that would be silly and it might break!! Xx
