Did do these ones earlier though, 40 flowers done so now on to the smaller ones....

We....the Tuesday girls did an advent swap again this year,  it is a lot of fun having a gift to open each morning leading up to Christmas day.....

Teresa gave to me for the first 8 gifts....

Thank you Teresa they are wonderful....

On the home front I have been working up a sweat fixing pavers that have sunk since the plumbing that was done a while ago......

A girl has to do what a girl has to do.....

Gavan's health doesn't allow him do the things he used to, Heather did come to help me and I was sooo pleased she did, not as agile as I used to be unfortunately......

Oh dear.... our morning walk on Tuesday before stitching took a nasty turn.....

well our Sandi had a bad fall, flat on her face so Norreen and I jumped to assist.... fortunately we were only a few houses away from Sandi's place.....

Yes we were then "slaves" during the rest of the day......

nearly wore me out actually.....

Teresa brought  the wonderful morning tea .....

yummooooo

Silliness then went from bad to worse.....

Nor totally lost the plot.....

Sandi after a trip to the doctor.....
Some people will do anything to avoid stitching....

So that ended a very weird day and Sandi is on the mend so that is great news......

A little bit of my week.....

I was animal sitting (1 cat and 2 dogs) for a few days.....
When Heather came  home she had been to L'ucello's in Melbourne and bought me a great pack of beautiful fabrics.....
lucky me....

Monday morning cuppa with Gav after his ultra sound ....

A lovely butcher bird warbling above us, I think he might be waiting for us to leave him a few crumbs......

Tuesday stitching with the girls was fun as usual......
A yummie morning tea given to us by Sandi....

My Liz gave me this pretty geranium (a cutting she struck for me) it is now in full bloom.....

I guess it's not very exciting to lots of people but for me to grow anything is quite an accomplishment.....

Jimboomba is a difficult place to grow anything at all.....

While my Mum is away......

I was animal sitting (2 dogs and a cat) for Heather while she was away on a Jet Ski long weekend......

Which isn't really not very interesting except for the fact that I'm not a cat person.....

Missy was very lonely so I took my sewing into the grannie flat to keep her company,

am I really doing this ?

At least I got a little sewing done.....

Well since Heather came home Missy seems to think I am her friend now so she sits outside my sewing room sleeping or watching me sew......

Friday

We decided to take a lovely drive and go to Boonah for lunch .....but......

firstly we had an issue with the house pump, took a while to sort out but we got there eventually.....

Not to be put off by that we headed out for the day.....but.....

about 10 mins from home this happened.....

While talking to roadside service a lovely young man stopped and said it would be quicker if he changed the tyre for us so change it he did....

Gavan said he was over the day out so we turned to head home stopping at the local tyre fix it shop but then thought we needed a yummie treat to cheer us up....

So we might try to go to Boonah another day......
