What a journey this has been.....
My Splendid Sampler...
I wasn't going to do this quilt but after a little bit of coaxing from the girls at retreat February last year we all started it together......
I decided that I would only use fabric from my stash except for the sashing, binding and wadding....
unfortunately it hasn't made much of a dent in the fabric stash really.....
the backing is also from my stash so it is a bit odd I guess.....
Well I'm soooo happy to say that I have finished mine.....
I only did 81 of the 100 blocks as there were some that I wasn't so keen on and it is big enough for me as well.....
So drum roll please....
Ta.... daaaaaa
The lighting isn't very good in my bedroom but it does look very nice on the bed....
Guess who likes to get in on the act ?

I love the way you have finished off your quilt... It always amazes me how far 'the stash' goes. I also used from mine though I did buy metreage for my sashing .....

Oh Helen I love your Slendid Sampler Quilt and you have inspired me to put my blocks together.
I have 80 tucked away in a plastic box... is there any instructions on how to do the borders you did please 😘😘
