Well I got off to a good start with the FNSI .... layered and pinned the tree skirt then started the quilting.
I did all the ditch stitching first followed by stitching around the applique.... then started the stars on the dark sections of the skirt.... all was going ok until I decided that the stars were too small so I spent the rest of the night unpicking them all so today I did finish the quilting so all was not lost.
I think a bit of blog hopping might be in order now so I'll go and check out other FNSI ladies and see what they were up to last night. Stitching is always more fun when you know that others are sewing along with you.
