First block of my new quilt project is finished, its "An Earl Grey Moment" by "Faeries in My Garden" I'm doing this with Jenny so we are definately off to a good start.
Our Tuesday group was very small on Melbourne Cup day but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves, good friends, drinks and yummie food all adds up to a great day.... sorry about the quality of the piccie, not sure what happened there as our drinks were alcohol free as we all had to drive home.
Lots of chocolate..... Laurel and I made short work of it though.

Earl Grey is so pretty Helen - will be a beautiful quilt.
Your block looks beautiful. Your stitching is perfect as always, Helen. Glad you had a nice Cup day. I went to EagleFarm races with my boys and daughter-in-law. Had a great day. It was nice to dress up, been a while since I have attended a Melbourne Cup function.
Good to see the block finished, looks great. I had a very quiet day for Melbourne Cup day here at home
Your first block is beautiful. The Faeries designs are amazing arent they.
HI I have dropped in from the SAL - but I have to say how beautiful your teapot is - that is an amazing quilt and well beyond my skill - and patience. One thousand congratulations to you to take it on - though I think I remember you also did the Needlewomans Cottage from Faeries.
