A lovely outing.....

We headed off to visit the Tweed Regional Museum, Murwillumbah.....
I have been wanting to see the Margaret Olley exhibition for quite some time.........
Firstly though we travelled through the Numinbah Valley, stopping at a quaint cafe for a Devonshire Tea......

Wild life at the Natural Arch......

The day was a bit overcast but we still enjoyed the beautiful scenery......

Outside the Museum......

Sadly no photos allowed at the exhibition....
I bought this beautiful calendar for next year, wonderful photos of Margaret Olley's paintings....

Coffee on the way home at a very nice little cafe in Mudgeeraba.......

A very nice day........

Great fun visiting Jenny.....

We had the best day visiting my long time friend Jenny......
Jen was on retreat at Glenrose Patchwork,  Warwick.......

Yes Sandi was with us.....but somehow no photos of her......ooooops
Of course we did the usual things....
eat....laugh.....shop and heaps more laughing.....
Jenny showed us her wonderful quilt top, she is so proud of herself as it is all needle turned and is not something she likes to do but after all that work is now much happier doing that technique.....
well done Jen.....

We all joined a Mini Quilt BOM at Glenrose Patchwork, so looking forward to doing these in the coming months with the girls.....

My first one is underway as I write this post......

Coffee was our first stop to have a chat and catchup on all the gossip....
No photo as I only had a pot of tea so wayyyy toooooo boring......
Then off  for lunch at the Warwick Garden Centre.....
All the retreat ladies jouned us for lunch and guess who forgot to take a photo ????

Who is this little possum I see through the beautiful gift display there.....

We took Jen back to Glenrose....
as we did need to check if we wanted anything else there......
Being a Tuesday we should have been stitching our Flower Garden hexies so I  did mine a few days early.....

After a great day we said our goodbyes and headed off home......

So toodles once again.......
