A bit of a long story short......
We went to our GD Corinnes wedding in July and of course had a fantastic time....
Lots of photos to come soon.....
Unfortunately lots of guests including us and the happy couple came down with Covid.....
We were both quite sick but quickly started the anti-virals then recovered but after a couple of days Gavan went downhill very fast, ambulance took him to hospital and was diagnosed with pnemonia....
Problems with his heart caused us a bit of worry.....He did recover and returned home .....
During this time I was struggling a bit with the situation and of course our beautiful "Poppy" was causing me a fair bit of stress.....
So ..... I made the sad decision to find her a new home more suitable for her needs.....
A long time friend of Heathers was very happy to take our girl in to her home and she now has 2 JRT brothers and a wonderful life with heaps of attention and exercise which is exactly what she needs.....
A couple of photos of her enjoying her new home....
Linda with Poppy and her new brothers.....
This would never happen in our home....
She is allowed to do pretty much anything she likes apparenty....
Long walks and lots of running is exactly what she needs.....
I'm so pleased that she is enjoying herself with her new family.....
But..... I do miss the little terror.....
The quiet times together and cuddles.....
It is cerainly better for her and a lot less stress for me, just didn't have the time or energy to give her what she needs....
Gavan unfortunately can only see blurry shadows now due to Macular Degeneration and requires a lot of assistance but he is going ok considering his other health problems........
Happily I am getting a lot of sewing done and hopefully more blogging......
Toodles for now.....

Poppy is a very energetic JR and I can imagine it was a hard decision for you to make but I think she's enjoying her new home.
Lovely to have nice memories.
Hope Gavin and you are doing well.
Great to have some more sewing time.
