I did change the fabrics for this one as the kit was a bit dark for my sewing room.....

An unexpected outing.....

It was so nice to go out with Sandi to Bayside Stitchcraft.....

We are silly girls and forgot to take photos of the shop.....

A walk around the foreshore was so good... 

very hot but enjoyable just the same.....

A darn nuisance.....

Is anyone else having a problem with spam comments ?

I have put the moderation thingeee on again which is a real pain but it appears it is the only way to keep check of these comments........

What on earth do they get out of doing it, I really don't understand.....

I'm sure my little blog can't be very interesting to them, I guess they are trying to get into our details and computers.....

Sunday Stitchers March meeting....

The girls did a great job using 

"Saint Patrick's" day as the theme.....

Everything was green, very clever and tasty....

I  put my "Simple Life  quilt top together,
The rest of the applique stitcheries are another UFO number on the list and will be needleturned on the quilt top....

Oh dear.....

Well I was supposed to be stitching with friends last night for FNSI ......

go here to Wendy's blog and I'm sure you will find links to other ladies blogs who achieved more than I did......

All I have to show is a big nothing ....

I was a bit tired so I just sat......

But today after my night of rest......

I....with the help from my son Rob dug a drain.... 

A very big storm ruined one of my new gardens with the force of the water so a drain was the order of the day.....

I got half of it done and had to call Rob for help, I was stuffed.....Lol

Looks good now though....

I did do a bit of tumbler glueing on Thursday night in preparation for Sunday Stitchers...

Tuesday was fun and very hot when Sandi and I visited Nor for some stitching, Nor is recovering from neck surgery and she was keen to get together.....

Sandi brought yummie morning tea....

Sandi gave us beautiful gifts from her recent cruise to New Zealand's north island .....

It was soooo hot my choccies in the tin melted while we sat on the veranda at Nor's.....

They were delicious even melted.....

Well I might get a bit of stitching done tonight hopefully.....

Crochet is my least favourite craft so I'm not sure what possessed me to buy this kit.......

Oh yes I remember what it was....

It was soooo gorgeous and I just had to make it.....

I was working on my Pretty Crochet quilt.....

The end is in sight so I'm working madly to get it finished......

Crochet being my least favourite craft, I'm going to continue with it today so it will really be a "stitch-in" for me......
