Mother's Day

We spent a lovely morning at the Birchgrove Nursery Cafe for Mum's Day this year.....

Don't you love Heather's beautiful plant that Corinne bought for her ?

June.... me.... Heather and Corinne.

Heather gave me this little cutlery set and it looks good with my crockery.

Cake of course.....
this is a Spicy Fig Cheesecake and it's sooooo yummie....

Thanks for a great Mum's morning.

On the sewing front I have nearly finished the centre block of
"A Little Bit Country" by Libby Richardson.

A new project begins......
"Love Among the Roses" by Faeries in My Garden.....
I'm making this one in Memory of my Mum, she loved roses so much and I think the name of the quilt says it all for me.

First block.

Embroidery is really my first love...... it's a very relaxing project.
