FNWF and fun bowling.....

Last night was the first "FNWF" for 2017 and it was great to stitch along with heaps of like minded ladies.....

I worked on my Splendid Sampler blocks, unfortunately I got way behind and I'm now doing a major catch up..... holidays, Christmas and swaps took over so now back to  it....

Last Wednesday I had to pre-bowl so this time the Tuesday Girls joined me for a bit of fun.....

they are sooooo thoughtful.... they didn't want me to be lonely....

as usual lots of laughing and giggling.....

Bringing in the New Year

                Thoroughly enjoying the afternoon watching the New Years Concert in Vienna 
                                      with a yummie Florentine biscuit and coffee.....
                               doesn't get any better than this to start the new year.

Christmas Day 2016

We had a quiet start to our day this year..... 

our Corinne has moved to Japan so we missed her cheerful face on Christmas morning....

So after breakfast we were off to Heather's place for Christmas lunch...

Gift giving was first up for the day.....

we did fun pressies this year..... some funny some good.....

as usual it does take a long time to get everything on our plates ....

Unfortunately Rob and Mel were unable to come to lunch but we did get to see them eventually....

I like this photo as it appears as though I made 2 quilts but alas not so.....

Large mirrored wardrobe doors make all the difference.....

It is quite a large quilt and looked pretty good on my bed before it was gifted......

Tuesday Girls Christmas party

We had another great day together this time for our Christmas party....

Firstly gift giving at Sandi's house..... very festive house.....

We have a Christmas Bonbon challenge....

Then it was off to the "Fox and Hounds" pub for Christmas lunch....

Unfortunately Nor wasn't able to join us so it was just these 2 scally wags and me.

 Naturally we all enjoyed a "Foxy Lady" drink.....

OMG they are soooo good.

Mmmmm great roast lunch....

followed by Christmas Pudding of course....

I didn't get any photos inside the pub but did get this one of the bus.....

I wonder what they have in mind for it.......

Inside the pub  is decorated so well with heaps of English Antiques and Collectibles
