Sunday Stitchers March get together....

                                                   

It was a hive of industry this month .......

De... Cheryl... Susan and me brought our sewing machines to work on charity quilts.....

Some of the girls brought fabric from their stash which gave us a good variety to work with...

One of which was a layer cake from Maria....\

De quickly put it together ......

A simple quilt but very effective we thought....

Susan and I worked on an Eye Spy quilt for boys....

With heaps of help from Anita and Juanita setting up the rows and ironing....

Some of the girls also helped with cutting and ironing for quilts to be made soon.....

A quick outing with Heather to Bunnings....

Of course a stop at the little cafe there but no seats available  so we were told to use a display setting anywhere we wanted.....

We found this nice little setting and enjoyed our cake and coffee....

We enjoyed it so much that Heather decided to buy the setting....

A fun day....

De's Birthday and a bit of stitching....

 Today we celebrated De's birthday with cake and pressies.....

We had small cupcakes, cheese and crackers....

Didn't want to eat tooo much as we were off to "Crunchy's" for lunch.....

In my case it was naughty lunch....

Then back to Sandi's for stitching....

not a lot of that going on for me.....

Today we said Goodbye to Fatty.....

 A sad day for our son Rob when he had to say goodbye to his wonderful old friend.......

a gorgeous gentle giant.....

He often joined me for a bit of quiet stitching......

I don't think that is your bed.....

Fatty has only been living here at our home with Rob and Mel for the last 2 years and you couldn't help but fall in love with him....

He certainly will be missed....

Exciting family news.....

 Our gorgeous Corinne is now engaged to Anthony .....

We are soooo happy to welcome Anthony into our family....

13th February....

Congratulations on your wonderful news.....

Jake and Hollie.....

Not long now for the birth of their baby.....

Our first grandchild....

very exciting.....

Bub is due very soon now.......

So many wonderful things happening ......

2 weddings for 2023 which will be fabulous.....
