This is block 7, still very slowly slogging away. I have changed some of the blocks a bit and I guess thats why its taking me so long but not to worry I'm past half way now..... woohoo.... only 5 more to go.
This is the first block of a free pattern called "Noah's Ark" by Lynette Anderson its a small wallhanging, Lynda,Tereasa and myself are doing it together so should be fun.
These are my new girls..... Melody and Sewing Keeper...... both patterns came from "Stitchers Dream Day Out" 2006 by Debbie Magee .... yes yes I know .. took awhile but made at last. I was waiting for Tereasa to finish hers and then our piccies would be put on the blogs at the same time but she is dragging her heels a bit.... boy will I get a tongue lashing for that comment lol.
I think my camera skills need improving but these will just have to do for the time being.
This is a project I have been doing for such a long time but I gave myself a small challenge to get it done and I'm now happy to say I've finished..... yahooooo I painted the box quite a while ago ( couple of years) and all I needed to do was collect the baby memories together and give it to my daughter.... Elizabeth. In the yellow box is a collection of paintings... early school books... school reports and any special things I could find from Liz's childhood days and in the book like box are baby cards, baby book etc. My other daughter ... Heather .... has one and I still have to do one for my son.... Robert... but boys dont really care much about that kind of stuff so I have plenty of time to do that. Gosh I feel good about this, I'm going to visit Liz tomorrow, she will get a surprise as she has been waiting for so long.
I'm a Mum to 1 fantastic son and 2 beautiful daughters I'm also Nan to 5 super grandchildren, 1 great grandson and not forgetting my Hubby...Gavan of 58 years.
I enjoy lots of crafts but embroidery would be my first love followed closely by quilting, patchwork and the list goes on. I like to have a go at new crafts when I can. We have lived in Jimboomba QLD for 33 years. I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog.
