A little gift for me ......

This wallhanging is for me, finished it today and didn't know what hanger to use so looking around the craft shop with Tereasa we decided to use the angel wings to be a bit different and I'm very happy with them. The wallhanging is having a little holiday at the craft shop to display the kit she is selling.

New Kitchen... out with the old

These are the only piccies I could find to show a little bit of the old kitchen.

At last the piccies have come up, I've been trying for days but always having trouble.

Well this is my new kitchen .... I love it.... just as well I guess lol theres no going back now, I've been trying to find some piccies of the old kitchen as I forgot to take a before piccie so maybe in the photo box I might find some so you can see the big change from the old. The house was also painted throughout, it has a tinge of green but that doesn't seem to be showing in these piccies much. Hopefully I will be able to get more photos of the other changes soon if it lets me upload.

Prim Treasures swap

This is the very cute little angel christmas ornie and matching bag made for me by Kerry in the prim treasures group, isnt she just beautiful..... love her , thank you very much Kerry.

Another quickie....

This is the cute little bookmark from the " Simple Pleasures" book by Anni Downs, a very nice gift for someone special.

I'm working on my bedroom curtains today and hopefully will soon be finished. We have had renovations going on for the last couple of months, all the big stuff is done and now for the finishing off, I'll post a couple of piccies soon. Ooooo I just noticed that the background fabric for the bookmark is my curtain fabric.

Melbourne Cup Luncheon

Here we are enjoying our Melbourne Cup day Luncheon ( Heather and me) Tereasa in the background, this was held outside in the lovely arcade between the" Homespun and Beautiful" craft shop and " Cusack Lane Cafe" the lunch was done by the cafe, was yummo.... great company... lots of giggles too so what could anyone ask for. There was a fashion parade by a local dress shop... raffle, door prizes, sweeps and no luck for me in any of them.

Here we are all together .... from the left Laurel, Barbara, Denise, Heather, me behind the balloons and Teresa on the right and clever little pumpkin Leona taking the piccie and where is that naughty Tereasa... not in the picture... hiding again I think.

Slowly catching up with projects

This cute little key fob is from the "Simple Pleasures" book by Anni Downs, it has great projects and I love the size of the book.

At last another Vintage Valentine block is finished... only 3 to go, now to find the right fabric for the borders.

This lamp is a Lynette Anderson pattern its called " Millhouse Shade" and it has a "Friendship Mat" to match but haven't started that yet, its one of the projects from the " 2007 Stitchers Dream Day Out " I bought the shade on the day but didn't get the base till the Dream Day Out this year, so good to have it finished at last and I'm so pleased with it..... love it....

Now this is the project I started at this years day out, isn't she beautiful ? Another great doll called "Vintage Roses" designed by Debbie Magee, love making dolls they are such fun.

Saltbox collection finished.

These coasters and pot holders are the last pieces of the Saltbox Collection kit, they did take a little while to finish even though are are small, lots of binding to stitch but I think they look good and my daughter.... Heather .... is very pleased with them and suit her decor very nicely.

Now to get on with the next project, I feel so motivated at the moment, hope this mood lasts for a while.

Another great "Stitchers Dream Day Out" 2008

As you can see the table decorations were truly lovely so I bought them at the end of the day.

Tereasa ( in pink ) is stitching away trying to pretend I'm not taking pictures.

These 2 piccies are of the designers introducing their projects to us.

Last sunday I went to a "Stitchers Dream Day Out " at Highfields QLD put on by the Quilters Angel store with my friend ... Tereasa and it was terrific, this was the 3rd time this event was run and of course we have attended them all. There were 4 designers... Debbie Magee, Leanne May, Libby Richardson and Lesley McConnell all 4 ladies were lovely to chat with and the projects they designed for our day were also fantastic, there would have been approximately 120 ladies at the function with great food and lots of fun, chatting and games. Its certainly a great way to spend the day with friends and do nothing else except stitch.

Well I have been trying to upload piccies tonight without success again so its time for me to go to bed, I'll try to get the photos for this post on tomorrow, have no idea why I'm having all this trouble.. the only thing I can think of is ... we bought a new putor with Vista program but we don't know if this is the reason, hopefully I find out soon as its giving me the pips.
Hooray finally got some piccies up.

2006 Friendship Block swap

This is a project I did with the craft forum in 2006, it is a friendship block swap and I've finally finished and has turned out fairly well.

Here is another Noahs Ark block by Lynette Anderson this one fairly quick to do, so now to wait for next months block.

More projects...... finished.. yahoo

" Saltbox House Kit"

I bought this kit from my local craft shop "Raggedy Station" ... it contains fabric and 2 panels, I still have to finish the coasters and pot holders so will post piccies of them soon. This collection is for my daughter .... Heather.... who just happens to be my lovely model holding the bag.

I'm having a lot of problems uploading piccies at the moment so was lucky to get these on my blog, there are more photos to be added of my trip but I don't want to bore you all toooooo much. I also went to " A Stitchers Dream Day Out " last sunday and I will put some photos up of that too, I went with a friend Tereasa and we had a terrific day as usual. I'll keep trying to get my piccies uploaded and hope for more success.

to continue......

These 2 were taken on the "Sound of Music" tour.

The days were very hot but in the distance you can see snow on the mountains, such beautiful scenery.

Here we are deep in a salt mine in Germany.

This is one of many laneways going from street to street, this one would be great with a craft and coffee shop so I could sit and stitch for hours...... ahhhhhh of course it would have to be an iced Latte.

Still trying to upload piccies.....

These piccies are in the wrong order but I've been having so much trouble uploading that I will just have to leave them this way... so its my back to front holiday. Isn't this the cutest little muffin.
