Long time no post....oops

I've been so slack, things just get in the way sometimes....
Busy with family stuff also nasty bugs making me sick but I'm back on deck now.....
So this will be a quick catch up post....
Sunday Stitchers retreat.....
6th September....
Unfortunately I wasn't able to go, it was our first retreat for this group but I couldn't leave Gav on his own just yet.....
I decided to have my own retreat with Gav....sort of...lol....
So I did heaps of sewing and even made scones for my morning tea.....
The girls took me on the retreat journey with them, messaging if course......they even shopped for me....
New projects....Oh no....

I even received gifts....
Sandi gave me this lovely fabric with a pre_printed stitchery panel....
"Willowbrook" by Natalie Bird....
I have been eyeing this off for while now...
Thanks so much Sandi....

Another lovely surprise from Susan...
A gorgeous pin cushion kit...
She knows me well, I do love a pretty pin cushion.....
Thanks Susan, love it.....

The girls sure made me feel part of the weekend, lots of face time chats and photos....
Thanks girls....

I enjoyed my scones with Gav and Heather.....

Now onto my weekend of sewing...
I worked on my UFO challenge projects....
Christmas Ornie was No. 9
Not quite finished....

No. 6 on my list....

 Men's charity bag .....

I quilted my " Circles " quilt ....
then did the binding so a very good finish for the weekend....
I still haven't taken a photo of it yet.....

I'm so pleased the girls from SS group had a terrific time away, hopefully I will be able to join in the fun next year.....
That's it for now....
Toodles.....

great work and some finishes.
Sew nice of the girls to keep you up to date and buy such great gifts for you.
Delicious scones you made to share with Gav and Heather.
