My Birthday and advent pressies

My Birthday began a day early with these beautiful flowers being delivered, they are from Gavan and were a big surprise..... he even made me cry.

Then the next day was the big day and just happened to be a Tuesday so naturally I spent it with the
"Tuesday girls" we had a great and very hot day at Norreen's home.
Nor set a terrific table for us and I had balloons tied to my chair..... it was so great.

We had this wonderful  Red Velvet Trifle and it was soooooo good.

Lovely pressies from these fabulous girls.
These are from Sandi..... cheeky girl, that's a mug rug there too.

These lovelies are from Teresa..... I will try to keep calm but how can I with these girls......

The lovely Norreen knows I love bears as you can see.

Then Nor popped out with a Birthday Cake singing Happy Birthday......
the girls singing was adorable...... trust me.....

The postie brought me a parcel from  the "Friends in Stitching" online group, Fiona made my gift on behalf of the group.....
these are the lovely goodies ......a wonderful project bag, the very cute scissor fob and choccies but by the time I took the photo there was only 1 left...... well it was my birthday after all.

Thanks so much girls.

In the evening we went out to dinner with all the family..... Gavan had organised balloons which was lovely.

Malibu Chicken.

Sadly not all the family came in the end so it was just June and Corinne....my lovely g/daughters.

Gavan and me...... never mind maybe next year but I still had a good time.

These beautiful Royal Albert pieces "Old Country Roses" my very favourite china was given to me by Corinne..... she knows me sooooo well..... a tealight holder and mug.

Its so nice to look forward to my advent  pressies each morning....
from the lovely Sandi and the Sue Daley Mystery box.
Day 9

Say 10

Lastly a little bit of crafting, I finished my 8 small quilts for this metal tree.

My secret Santa partner from our Sunday Stitchers group was Norreen so I mad her this very cute
Libby Richardson table runner.

Well I think that's enough news for today so I will be back later with more advent gifts to share.

So many lovely goodies there. So glad you were able to spend the day with the Girls and then have dinner with your special granddaughters and Gavan.
