Liz's new bag

This is a "Moon Shine" pattern by Monica Poole its called "Bow Bag", Liz (my daughter) chose the fabrics and I think she has done a good job, they do look great and I hope she gets a lot of use out of it. I was supposed to make it last year but only got around to cutting it out

at the time so its nice to get it finished at last.

Finished at last.... yahoooo

At last, I never thought I would see it all together but here it is.... now for the next bit.... layering and quilting, I would like to hand quilt but can't make up my mind which quilting designs would be right. I am so pleased with this quilt.... I love it. If it wasn't for a friend of mine "Diann" I probably would never had done it at all, thanks very much Diann.

More news

This is one of Bronwyn Hayes new patterns... "The Gingham Girls" Medium carryall, its a fun bag and is a sample I made for Tereasa's craft shop "Homespun and Beautiful" aka Raggedy Station, we didn't use leather handles as shown in the picture but made up a method of our own which turned out very well.

Happy Birthday Girls

The birthday girls...... Tereasa B ( left) and Teresa C ( right)
Shhhhh I have a sercet... it was Tereasa (left) 50th birthday.

Laurel made the cake so naturally she was in charge of candles too.

A little quiet time..... Leona ( left) Tereasa and Mary.

Here is our little Tuesday group and today was very special as Tereasa and Teresa were both celebrating their birthdays and as you can see in these piccies we were enjoying ourselves with a lovely homemade morning tea and lunch, as usual lots of laughter and chatter, not much stitching today though.

Finished a little while ago

I finished this project a while ago but didn't get a piccie of it at the time as it went on holidays to my local craft shop Homespun and Beautiful aka Raggedy Station as a sample but now its home, I made it for my new table and chairs. This is from Bronwyn Hayes book "Miss Millie's Flower Patch", the project is called Miss Millie's Picnic Throw but its a great size for a table topper, I didn't do the centre stitchery as the table decoration covers that part so it was a waste of a stitchery. I love these projects in this book , I have made a few of them already and nearly finished another.
